Once again a salute to this forward thinking impact making foundation. Currently funding both an artmaking space in Brooklyn and an exhibit series at the Museum of the City of New York, among other pieces, The Puffin Foundation funded the sculpture in Central Park “Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument” which depicts Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Sojourner Truth, and Susan B. Anthony. The Puffin Foundation, I am pleased to mention, awarded me a grant in 1994 (?I think?) and again for my series of WPA-era inspired posters 25 years later in 2019.
